The successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation, customization, development, and support of IBM Sterling solutions for our clients.
This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful deployment and optimization of IBM Sterling OMS Systems.
The ideal candidate will have minimum 5 years hands-on experience with IBM Sterling Order Management (Sterling 9.1) and strong knowledge of custom database extensions, user exits, agents, and building Web Services.
Additionally, excellent communication skills in both verbal and written forms are required. The successful candidate should be able to lead the implementation and customization of IBM Sterling OMS and Java-based solutions for clients, collaborate with clients to gather and analyze business requirements, and configure and customize IBM Sterling OMS and Java-based custom applications software to meet specific client needs.

- Provide training and support to end-users on IBM Sterling functionality, ensuring smooth adoption and utilization of the system.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in point of sale technology, providing recommendations for system enhancements and improvements.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of documentation related to IBM Sterling and custom Java app configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Participate in project planning and execution, ensuring successful implementation and client satisfaction.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members, sharing knowledge and best practices.
