Senior Process Engineer Job Description

As a senior process engineer, you play a vital role in delivering services to the oil and gas industry.

You will develop complex dynamic simulation process models using advanced tools and techniques.

This involves understanding and analyzing project requirements, producing high-quality project deliverables, and configuring dynamic process models for oil and gas processes.

Additionally, you will run simulations for various scenarios with built models, carry out dynamic process and control studies, and perform optimization and de-bottlenecking studies.

You will also assist with flow assurance model building for real-time production assurance systems.

Moreover, you will execute OTS projects with project teams for end-to-end design & delivery for refinery, oil & gas, petrochemical, and other customers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or Master's degree is preferred.
  • 8+ years' experience in Refinery or Petrochemical operations / process controls / process Engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with Advanced Process Control, Real-Time Optimization, Performance Monitoring and First Principal modelling.
  • Skilled in Aspen Hysys, Aspen GDOT, KBC Petrosim, Technip Spyro etc.
