Job Title: Project Accounting and Capitalization Manager

As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in leading project cost control initiatives to ensure overall Capex stays within approved budgets. You will be responsible for management reporting on project progress, indicating Cost Variance, actual Spent, and Forecasted Cash Flow.

You will lead the funding of project commitments as per Schedule and engage with teams for financial planning, analysis, and reporting.

Your responsibilities will also include proper accounting of project costs, assets capitalization, overall inventory management, and common cost allocation to know the true cost of projects.

You will optimize state incentives, documentations, representations, transfer pricing for compliances for inter-company transfers.

In addition, you will partner with treasury teams for ECA and debt financing at optimized costs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Accounting and Capitalization: Ensuring Proper Accounting of element wise and stream wise project cost, Common Cost Allocation, Finalisation of Transfer Pricing for Inter-company transactions, Asset Capitalisation
  • Project Financing: Partnering with Treasury and banking team for ECA and Debt financing at optimised cost
  • Inventory Management: Continuous Monitoring of Project Inventory, Partnering with PMC's/Sub-Contractors, Inventory Reconciliations
  • Incentive Optimisation: Optimisation of State Incentive, Representation to Govt., filing of Documents and information with Govt. as per policy, System designing in line with Incentive Policy requirement.
  • Risk Management and Compliance: Identify and assess financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate and manage these risks effectively and efficiently. Ensure strict adherence to regulatory compliance.
  • Policies, Processes and Procedures: Create standard policies, processes, procedures that align with business objectives, and monitor their adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner.
  • People Management: Mentor and develop respective teams to take larger responsibilities and efficiently perform their roles.
