The successful candidate will be responsible for operational oversight of the Enterprise Risk Management function.
Key areas of focus include:
- Risk Management Framework: Develop and implement an Enterprise Risk Management framework across the organization, ensuring compliance with industry best practices.
- Internal Controls: Design and implement a robust internal control system to mitigate risks and enhance business processes.
- Risk Identification and Mitigation: Identify, evaluate, and document control weaknesses and deficiencies; develop recommendations for risk mitigation and improvement.
- Risk Registers: Maintain Risk Registers (RCSA) to track and monitor risks.
- Process Review: Conduct regular review of current business processes, identify control gaps and deficiencies, and develop recommendations for risk mitigation and improvement.
- Policy Updates: Update the Enterprise Risk Policy to accommodate changing regulatory and strategic scenarios.
- Collaboration: Assist Principal Risk Owners with identifying key risks, mitigating controls, and action plans to address gaps in mitigating measures.
- Reporting: Prepare reports for senior management and Board Committees.
To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will possess:
- Educational Qualification: A graduate degree in finance, management, or risk management from a reputable institution. Professional certifications such as FRM, CFA, or CBCP are highly desirable.
- Experience: 4-8 years of experience in a similar role with a proven track record of success.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of risk management principles, Exchange ecosystem operations, and control frameworks.
