Regional Credit Manager Job Description

Job Summary:

As a Regional Credit Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the performance of our team to ensure compliance with established processes and guidelines. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor team performance to ensure adherence to checklist requirements and process protocols.
  • Conduct site visits to prospective customers, adhering to established procedures.
  • Prepare credit appraisal memos for potential customers, recommending suitable loan amounts based on thorough analysis.
  • Present loan proposals to the credit committee and review documents prior to loan disbursement.
  • Perform loan utilization checks and monitoring visits to maintain the quality of our loan portfolio.
  • Follow up with delinquent clients and delegate tasks to Credit Managers as needed.
  • Ensure productivity among Credit Managers and perform additional tasks assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a related field, such as finance or business administration.
  • Proven experience in credit management, with a strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address potential issues.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and systems, including Microsoft Office and financial management tools.
