AP Process Lead

The role of Senior Manager involves overseeing end-to-end Accounts Payable processes, including vendor invoice processing, payments, vendor reconciliations, employee reimbursements, fixed assets accounting, capital budget tracking, monthly AP books closures, accruals, and statutory compliance.
Main Responsibilities- Manage vendor invoice accounting and payment processing in alignment with credit terms and internal service level agreements.
- Ensure 3-way matching of purchase orders, goods received notes, and invoices to guarantee accuracy.
- Maintain regulatory compliance with applicable laws such as GST, TDS, and MSME.
- Conduct periodical vendor reconciliations and obtain balance confirmations.
This position demands leadership, operational oversight, and financial discipline to ensure timely and accurate transaction processing, effective controls, management information systems preparation, and reporting. It also requires maintaining book hygiene, attending internal and statutory audits, and coordinating with stakeholders.
As the Sr. Manager - Finance & Accounts, the jobholder reports to the Associate Director- Finance and handles responsibilities related to vendor invoice processing, payments, vendor reconciliations, employee reimbursements, fixed assets accounting, physical verification, capital budget tracking, monthly AP books closures, accruals, and statutory compliance, accurate transaction processing, effective controls, MIS preparation and reporting, maintaining book hygiene, attending internal and statutory audits, etc.
