We are seeking an experienced Senior Sports Business Development Manager to join our team.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to drive business growth, develop strategic partnerships, and lead cross-functional teams to achieve sales targets. As a key member of our sports leadership team, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and executing comprehensive business plans to increase sales revenue and market share in your designated region;
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, partners, and suppliers to drive business growth and loyalty;
  • Leveraging data analytics and market research to inform business decisions and optimize sales strategies;
  • Mentoring and coaching junior team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Driving business growth through the development and execution of strategic business plans;
  • Managing and maintaining a portfolio of high-value customer accounts to ensure long-term relationships and revenue growth;
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and supply chain, to align sales strategies and initiatives;
  • Analyzing sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement;
  • Providing sales training and coaching to junior team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, marketing, or sports management;
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, business development, or a related field;
  • Proven track record of driving business growth and achieving sales targets;
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
