Job Opportunity: Financial Performance Specialist

Location: Remote (Available to work Eastern Standard Time hours)

About the Role

We are seeking skilled Financial Performance Specialists to join our remote team and contribute to financial reporting, analysis, and process enhancements. This is a remote position that requires availability during Eastern Standard Time hours.

For candidates with 3+ years of experience:

  • Develop, maintain, and automate recurring revenue and expense reports.
  • Prepare ad-hoc financial analysis for leadership and business partners.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design dashboards and data views.

For candidates with 5+ years of experience:

  • Advanced expertise in FP&A, operational finance, or revenue accounting.
  • Experience leading reporting process improvements and automation initiatives.
  • Strong SQL/database skills for data extraction and analysis.
  • Ability to partner with leadership to provide strategic financial insights.
Key Responsibilities

Reporting & Analysis

  • Extract data from ERP, BI tools, and databases for reporting.
  • Reconcile data between systems and ensure accuracy of classifications and coding.
  • Maintain data integrity and resolve discrepancies in financial data.

Process & Timeliness

  • Track and meet recurring reporting deadlines.
  • Standardize reporting processes to improve efficiency.
  • Support month-end and quarter-end close with revenue and expense analysis.
Requirements

For 3+ Years' Experience (Mid-Level Role):

  • Strong foundation in financial reporting and analysis.
  • Ability to work independently on recurring reporting and ad-hoc requests.
  • Exposure to FP&A or revenue accounting preferred.

For 5+ Years' Experience (Senior Role):

  • Advanced expertise in FP&A, operational finance, or revenue accounting.
  • Experience leading reporting process improvements and automation initiatives.
  • Strong SQL/database skills for data extraction and analysis.
  • Ability to partner with leadership to provide strategic financial insights.
