Job Description

The Global Inventory and Logistics Manager is responsible for optimizing inventory and logistics processes, ensuring data integrity and strategic decision-making through accurate inventory analysis.

This individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between logistics, inventory, and business operations, while managing international logistics operations, carrier relationships, and customs clearance processes.

  • Develop weekly inventory and demand reports to ensure that inventory levels align with enterprise sales forecasts and business objectives. Identify and communicate inventory risks and shortages.
  • Manage day-to-day logistics operations to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery of products in compliance with international trade regulations and customs requirements. Manage carrier performance and resolve shipping and delivery delays.
  • Identify, lead, and manage inventory & logistics projects to automate and improve business processes and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Cross-functionally collaborate with Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business Systems, Product Management, and Order Management to align inventory strategies with demand forecasts and production plans.
  • Develop and track key performance indicators such as inventory health, on-time delivery, and shipping cost per unit. Present inventory and logistics performance insights to senior leadership with actionable improvement plans.
  • Document standard operating procedures for all day-to-day inventory and logistics related business processes.
  • Ensure successful launch and integration of new Global 3PL Warehouses.
  • Manage global third-party logistics vendors to ensure timely and accurate product setups, adherence to SOPs, and completion of cycle counts.

Key competencies include integrity, attention to detail, innovation, initiative, intelligence, and interaction.

A minimum of 2 to 15 years of experience in demand planning, inventory, and logistics management is required, with experience managing international logistics and customs processes.

Required skills and abilities include knowledge of inventory and order management processes within an ERP system, strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, proficiency in inventory management, logistics, and production flow principles, demonstrated project management experience, effective written and verbal communication skills, and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
