Job Title: Senior Fiber Optic Engineer

  • Design and plan the installation of fiber optic cable networks, including aerial and underground infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with construction and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations and minimize disruptions.
  • Develop and implement cost-effective solutions for new construction projects, while adhering to industry standards and regulations.
  • Provide expert guidance on OSP network design, planning, and implementation, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Coordinate with local municipalities and utility companies to obtain necessary permits and approvals.
  • Assist in site surveys and provide detailed engineering design drawings using AutoCAD and QGIS software.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
  • Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD and QGIS software.
  • Experience with GPON and Corning Flexnap products is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
