Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Fiber Broadband Solutions Expert.

You will be responsible for developing new business areas in services for Fiber Broadband service providers and actively defining offer and developing Services Portfolio.

Responsibilities
  • Developing new business areas in services for Fiber Broadband service providers.
  • Actively defining offer and developing Services Portfolio.
  • Evaluating and developing technology partnerships with relevant players in the market.
  • Solution architecture/ Technical sales.
  • Providing technical support to Sales activities, preparing business cases and proposals for new projects/ RFQs.
  • Interfacing with other stakeholders or partners to gather technical support for proposals preparation and RFQ responses.
Domain Requirements
  • Proven track record with more than 15 years' experience in providing various services for Fiber Broadband providers (Preferred UK/EMEA broadband providers experience).
  • Strong experience in solution development / managing technical operations services to Fiber broadband service provider. Examples of services scope: Service desk/ L1 support, Incident and problem management, Network Provisioning, Configuration and capacity management, Change request management, Customer onboarding, New product introduction/ launch.
  • Experience in delivery challenges when operating regional, Fiber broadband service providers who build and operate their own broadband infrastructure (Altnets). Strong Experience in consolidation (in networks, OSS and process delivery areas) of two or more Altnets into a larger Altnet.
  • Deep understanding of OSS architecture and how it applies to Service Assurance and Service fulfillment areas for Altnets, following industry standards such as Open Digital Architecture (former Frameworkx) of TM-Forum.
  • Good understand of telecom network architectures for broadband Services covering: Network access (GPON, XGS-PON), Transmission (OTN, DWDM, IP/ MPLS, iBGP), Core (TCP/ IP Switching, Routing, DNS, DHCP), Transit and Peering (EBGP and Carrier Grade NAT).
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong experience in technical sales of complex solutions.
  • Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS office.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • An analytical mindset with great problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, fluent in English.
  • A Bachelor's degree in telco or IT engineering field.
