Logistics Operations Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Logistics Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations group, you will be responsible for facilitating communication between external teams and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Communication and Collaboration: Facilitate the flow of information between external teams and internal stakeholders.
  • Data Analysis: Pull data from various databases and perform ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed.
  • Performance Metrics: Develop and understand performance metrics to drive business results.
  • Requirements Gathering: Scope out business and functional requirements for Amazon technology teams.
  • Problem Escalation: Systematically escalate problems or variance in information and data to relevant owners and teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree is required for this role.
  • Work Experience: 10-24 months of work experience is required.
  • Communication Skills: Good communication skills are essential for this role.
  • Advanced Excel: Proficiency in Advanced Excel, including pivot tables and vlookups, is required.
  • Teamwork: Demonstrated ability to work in a team in a dynamic environment is essential.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Logistics Background: A logistics background and lean/six sigma training are highly valued.
  • SQL: Proficiency in SQL is an asset.
