Direct Tax and Transfer Pricing Professional

This role involves providing expert advice on direct tax and transfer pricing matters, ensuring clients comply with relevant regulations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing transfer pricing compliance, documentation, and reporting requirements.
  • Working on advisory assignments relating to direct tax and transfer pricing.
  • Conducting benchmarking studies and economic analysis.
  • Drafting submissions for tax authorities and assisting in handling tax assessments/litigation.
  • Providing support in structuring cross-border transactions from a tax perspective.
  • Liaising with clients, tax authorities, and other stakeholders effectively.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory timelines and requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of direct taxation laws and transfer pricing regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent drafting and communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Strong client management skills.

Preferred Candidate:

  • Chartered Accountant, qualified in 2022 or later.
  • 3-6 years of relevant post-qualification experience in Transfer Pricing & Direct Tax.
  • Prior experience in consulting firms or tax advisory will be an added advantage.
