Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Distribution Planner to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing stock replenishment in assigned areas of the supply chain network, defining safety stock norms, and maintaining stock levels across all CFAs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Distribution Planning: Manage stock replenishment in assigned areas of the supply chain network.
  • Define Safety Stock Norms: Establish guidelines for stock levels to manage uncertainties in demand & supply.
  • Maintain Stock Levels: Ensure high stock freshness across all CFAs & work on strategies to reduce SLOB.
  • Co-ordinate with Demand & Supply Team: Align plans to ensure stock availability.
Main Tasks and/or Projects:
  • Daily Stock Availability Monitoring: Monitor stock levels in all CFAs.
  • Align with Logistics Team: Coordinate dispatch schedules & release dispatch plans.
  • Ensure High Truck Utilization: Reduce transportation costs by optimizing vehicle movements.
  • Manage Stock Levels: Avoid sales loss or stock outs by ensuring timely dispatches.
  • Proactive Service Level Improvement: Identify gaps in service levels & implement improvement plans.
  • NPD, Promotion & Season Plans: Align plan schedules with demand team & ensure distribution within timelines.
  • Maintain Required Stock Freshness: Highlight SLOB risks & manage liquidation in collaboration with sales & marketing teams.
  • Work on Action Plans: Reduce SLOB generation.
  • Provide Forward Requirement Visibility: Ensure stock availability by providing forward requirements to the supply team.
  • Co-ordination with Various Stakeholders:
