Procurement Specialist Job

This procurement specialist position is responsible for managing the entire procurement cycle, from requisition to payment. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

  • Key responsibilities include:
  • Raising requests, vendor sourcing, quotation analysis, and issuing purchase orders (POs).
  • Coordinating with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure timely procurement of goods and services.
  • Tracking order deliveries, verifying invoices, and liaising with the finance team for payment processing.
  • Maintaining accurate procurement records, vendor database, and ensuring compliance with audit and documentation standards.
  • Supporting in preparing procurement reports, tracking PO lifecycle, and collecting structured feedback from users post-delivery.
  • Managing inventory of office supplies, marketing materials, and consumables, including tracking stock levels, issuance, and timely replenishment.
  • Overseeing asset movement, documentation, and supporting implementation of asset tracking tools and internal audits.
Requirements and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or Supply Chain Management.
  • 2-3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain operations within a mid to large-sized organization.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement lifecycle and inventory control practices.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and procurement software such as Zoho or SAP.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Organized, dependable, and detail-focused with a problem-solving attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
