Electrical Sector Leader

Job Description

The Electrical Sector Leader is responsible for driving the development of new electrical products and services, as well as overseeing the customization and localization of existing products. This role requires strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of the R&D process.

  • Must have experience leading large design teams in the low voltage portfolio with complete acquaintance to IEC standards.
  • Expertise in global product standards and certification requirements (UL/CSA/CCC/CE).
  • Proven track record of successfully launching new product development (NPD), VAVE, customizations, and product/technology transfer programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement electrical sector strategies.
  • Oversee the development of new products and services, including power distribution products and power quality products.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure products meet market requirements and are delivered on time and within budget.

Required Skills:

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead change in an integrated team.
  • Good interpersonal skills, team management, planning, and a high execution focus.
  • Ability to demonstrate methodologies, processes, and tools effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 18-20 years of experience in product development in a business and plant environment.
  • Experience with electrical products, including low and medium voltage switchgear, UPS, and fuses.
