Key Role: Workforce Manager Officer

About the Job:

  • This is a challenging role that involves working with business leads to ensure efficient allocation of resources to client projects at a sub-regional level.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for developing strong relationships across the wider resource management community, sharing resources across practices where appropriate to optimise overall productivity and realisation.
  • In addition to this, the role requires partnering with the business leads to understand, plan for and ultimately meet the resourcing demands of the pipeline.
  • The individual must be comfortable with staffing analytics, maintaining resource management data integrity in the systems that support resource and project management decisions.
  • Strong commercial awareness is also essential, as the role involves monitoring and driving compliance to our financial management system, identifying and proposing solutions to resolve longer term patterns relating to forecast and actual utilisation.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with business leads to ensure efficient allocation of resources to client projects at a sub-regional level, business development opportunities and internal initiatives.
  • Develop strong relationships across the wider resource management community (UK and International), sharing resources across practices where appropriate to optimise overall productivity and realisation.
  • Maintain resource management data integrity within systems.
  • Support on reporting of metrics and analytics to the business leads using a variety of systems and dashboards.
  • Demonstrate strong commercial awareness to monitor and drive compliance.

Skill Requirements:

  • Excellent negotiation skills to resolve conflicts and escalating issues when necessary.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, communicating with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Proficient in the use of relevant software applications, including resource management systems and data analysis tools.
  • Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
