Financial Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to manage our financial operations in India. This role will be crucial in overseeing the day-to-day finance functions across entities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily accounting entries, including AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliations.
  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions, adhering to Indian accounting standards and US GAAP.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, as well as assist with GST, TDS, income tax, and ROC filings for the India entity.
  • Support global operations by ensuring transfer pricing compliance, handling cross-border payments, and coordinating with external auditors and tax consultants as needed.
  • Record, monitor, and clear company expenses, ensuring compliance with policies and budgets.
  • Ensure statutory compliance, including TDS, GST, PF, PT, and other applicable laws, and prepare necessary returns and reports on time.
  • Manage import and export transactions, including Bill of Entry (BOE) and ORM mapping, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Create and manage purchase orders and sales orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness, and coordinate with procurement and sales teams to streamline processes.
  • Support statutory and internal audits, and assist in MIS reports for management on a monthly basis.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, professional qualification preferred: CA Inter.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Accounting and Finance, including articleship, with strong understanding of Indian accounting standards.
  • Familiarity with TDS, GST, PF, PT, and other Indian statutory requirements, as well as US GAAP is a plus.
