The Settlement Specialist is a key member of our team responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of daily settlements and funding.
This role involves monitoring and resolving trade breaks and fails, maintaining proper documentation evidence for regulatory and compliance purposes, and working closely with our settlements team to ensure seamless transactions.
- Responsibilities include researching and resolving problems relating to specific P&S transactions, reconciling securities out-of-balance, and monitoring RTTM/GSCC advisories, exceptions, mismatches, and reversals.
- Daily interaction with external clients on trade capture related queries, matching trades with broker-dealer counterparts, and monitoring Euroclear to ensure matching of all Euroclear settlement items.
- A minimum of 2 to 9 years of experience in handling teams of minimum 10 members, with good experience and knowledge of settlements and OTC derivatives.
- Graduation or post-graduation in a relevant field is mandatory.
- Logical and quantitative abilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
