Job Title: Chief Cyber Security Architect

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year

Job Description

The Chief Cyber Security Architect will play a key role in supporting demand management in the ideation phase and early stages of IT projects. This includes providing solutions that are compatible with existing architecture to ensure compliance with strategy, policy, guidelines, budget, and operational supportability.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring quality and consistency with functional template design for deployments, monitoring the market to gain knowledge and understanding of emerging technologies, and building strong relationships with other solution architects, the CISO team, and security operations team.

This position also involves leading and/or participating in projects covering the Cyber Security domain as well as any project that requires support to ensure it is implemented in a secure way.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supports demand management in writing project charters and translating into detailed requirements
  • Translates business requirements into solutions and/or solution directions
  • Defines, agrees, and communicates the roadmap for security components in scope
  • Reviews impact assessment and solution directions for change requests
  • Keeps IM documentation and CMDB up-to-date for business processes and applications in scope
  • Ensures quality and consistency with template design for deployments – check of designs and build
  • Supports testing and training activities for CR's and in projects
  • Contributes to and initiates continuous improvement activities
Requirements:
  • Significant experience in IT infrastructure areas including 10+ years in the following:
  • Datacenter (Windows/Linux, Virtual/Physical, Hosted/Cloud(Azure)
  • Storage/Backup/Recovery. Experience with Dell CyberVault, VMware, and Azure are especially critical.
  • Network (Cisco, Aruba, Fortinet, SD-Wan, Solarwinds, and Guardicore).
  • Workplace (Windows, Azure, AD, AzureAD, Defender ...)
  • Cyber Experience (Security Operations, NIST Controls, Mitre, IRT, and Cyber Recovery)
  • Cyber Technologies (Defender, UEBA(Exabeam), SIEM, Vulnerability Mgmt, PAM(OneIdentity))
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a related subject (computer science etc...)
  • CISSP or equivalent cyber accreditation preferred
Area of Expertise:
  • Strong expertise with IT infrastructure from Data Centers, servers, and backup systems
  • Workplace experience including Windows OS, mobile devices, and Office 365
  • Cloud experience primarily around Azure and the use of IaaS and PaaS
  • Networking especially related to network segmentation, Intrusion detection, and access control.
  • Familiarity with NIST, FICAM, and Mitre, with ISO 27001 a plus
  • Familiarity with DR/BCP and related processes and technologies
