Strategic Business Analyst

Role Overview

This senior-level business analyst will act as a key liaison between stakeholders and technical teams.

The primary focus is on driving the analysis, design, and optimization of related products and processes. This role is pivotal in shaping business strategy, ensuring alignment between business objectives and technology solutions, and supporting the successful delivery of initiatives within the telecom domain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Business Process Analysis & Optimization
• Analyze and document existing business processes, systems, and operations to identify improvement opportunities, cost reductions, and new revenue streams.
• Develop business models, process flows, and use cases for current and future states, facilitating clear communication between technical and non-technical teams.
• Lead process design and optimization efforts, ensuring operational efficiency and scalability.
• Stakeholder Management and ability to manifest data-driven insights
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, project managers, and Biz Ops to unlock potential growth opportunities
• Manage stakeholder expectations, balancing business needs with technical capabilities, and act as a liaison between business and IT teams.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings to help stakeholders identify problems, understand needs, and guide decision-making.

Requirements Gathering & Documentation

• Elicit, analyze, and clearly document business and system requirements for projects.
• Translate complex business needs into actionable solutions and functional specifications.
• Prepare comprehensive business analysis documentation, including business requirements, use cases, user stories, and UAT plans.

Data Analysis & Insights

• Perform data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and actionable insights for decision-making.
• Define and track KPIs to measure the success of implemented solutions.
• Support testing and implementation of new product features.
• Lead or participate in UAT to validate the functionality and usability of new or enhanced systems and processes.
• Collaborate closely with developers and testers to ensure requirements are accurately implemented and quality standards are met.
• Strategic Planning & Solution Design
• Assess the feasibility and impact of proposed solutions, considering technical, operational, and financial aspects, and present recommendations.
• Support business case development and proposal preparation for new initiatives.

Leadership & Mentoring

• Lead and mentor junior analysts, providing guidance, training, and knowledge sharing.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the analysis team.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field from a reputable institution.
• 7+ years of experience in business analysis, with at least 2 years in telecom or related projects.
• Strong understanding of telecom business models and digital communication trends.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools, business modeling, and documentation standards.
• Excellent presentation, communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to evolving business needs.
