As a seasoned data developer, you will play a key role in enhancing our capabilities specifically around Looker to deliver even more impactful insights and robust data models.

This position is ideal for a junior professional or an intern looking to gain hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining complex LookML models and creating powerful Looker dashboards and reports.

You will be instrumental in translating raw data into a well-structured and reusable data layer, ensuring our clients have the information they need to make informed decisions.

  • Design and develop robust LookML models to create a single source of truth for our clients' data.
  • Create and maintain interactive Looker dashboards and reports that meet client requirements and business objectives.
  • Connect to various data sources (e.g., BigQuery, Azure SQL, APIs) and define relationships and data transformations within LookML.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize LookML code and Looker queries for performance and scalability.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather requirements and deliver effective BI solutions.
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all Looker deliverables.

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • A solid understanding of SQL (BigQuery, Azure SQL, or other relational databases).
  • Strong proficiency in data modeling principles and experience with various data sources.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to self-manage tasks effectively.

Bonus: Experience with other BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Superset) or Python for data manipulation.

This is a hybrid role offering flexibility with 3 days of work from office at a state-of-the-art facility and remaining days remote as per project schedule.
