Job Title

A Strategic Sourcing Specialist plays a crucial role in driving the sourcing process, ensuring value creation and efficiency within procurement. They work closely with stakeholders to manage relationships, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement solutions that drive business results.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of procurement principles, processes, and systems, as well as excellent communication and negotiation skills. They must be able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, with a focus on achieving goals and exceeding expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the execution of the sourcing process, including identification, qualification, and selection of suppliers.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the sourcing process.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements, and develop strategies to implement them.
  • Assess and resolve procurement issues, including contractual terms and conditions, and escalations by internal stakeholders and suppliers.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant sourcing/procurement experience.
  • Proven expertise leading sourcing initiatives, processes, and developing strategies.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of procurement systems and processes.
