Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Technical Design Specialist to lead the creation of detailed technical drawings and plans for our structural consultancy projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing structural elements, collaborating with colleagues to ensure accuracy and efficiency, and adhering to project specifications.

  • Initial design of structural components, including foundations, columns, retaining walls, slabs, beams, and water tanks.
  • Creation of detailed technical drawings using CAD software.
  • Review of initial designs and drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant standards.
  • Collaboration with engineers and project managers to ensure that initial designs and drawings meet project requirements and deadlines.

Responsibilities:

  • Design Development: Develop creative and accurate technical designs for structural elements.
  • CAD Proficiency: Utilize CAD drafting software to create high-quality technical drawings.
  • Quality Control: Review and verify designs and drawings for accuracy and compliance.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure successful project outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Skills: Proficiency in CAD drafting software, strong knowledge of drawing reading skills and engineering principles, and excellent communication and organizational skills.
