Job Title: Database Manager

As a database professional, you will play a key role in managing and optimizing data systems to ensure they run efficiently and meet organizational needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and maintain the performance of database servers
  • Develop processes for securing database infrastructure
  • Establish and enforce database standards
  • Manage access control and permissions
  • Tune database performance and optimize system efficiency
  • Install, upgrade, and manage database software
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot database errors
  • Recommend emerging database technologies and best practices
  • Design and implement database reports, analytics, and dashboards
  • Automate repetitive database tasks through scripting
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 5+ years of experience as a database administrator
  • Strong command of SQL, MySQL, and database tools
  • Advanced knowledge of database security, backup, and recovery
  • Understanding of relational and dimensional data modeling
  • Proficiency in PowerShell and Unix shell scripting
  • Familiarity with SSAS, SSIS, SSRS, and data visualization
  • Strong mathematical and statistical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
