IT Support Specialist

The IT Support Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless technology operations across the organization. This critical position demands comprehensive technical expertise, encompassing desktop support, network administration, and server management.

This specialized role is centered around providing exceptional end-user support, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and fostering business continuity through proactive monitoring and maintenance of IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and enterprise applications.
  • Monitor and maintain robust IT infrastructure (servers, storage, networks).
  • Handle user requests and incidents via an efficient helpdesk/ticketing system.
  • Administer user accounts, email systems, and security groups within Active Directory/Office 365.
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity and system access issues.
  • Collaborate with vendors and external providers for IT services and escalations.
  • Contribute to IT projects (cloud migration, system upgrades, security enhancements).

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • 1–3 years of IT support/infrastructure experience.
  • Proficiency in Windows/Linux servers, virtualization, and cloud platforms.
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP).
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and customer service skills.
