Job Title: Mobile Tester

We are seeking a skilled and experienced mobile tester to join our team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for testing mobile applications, identifying defects and providing high-quality test results. The role requires excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Define the scope of testing within the context of each release/delivery
  • Provide status to the Test Lead/Manager
  • Support testing team
  • Work closely with Business Analysts, functional leads, and Development teams
  • Support in test planning and managing the testing effort for any given release
  • Design test scenarios and test cases
  • Bug tracking and reporting
  • Defect coordination
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Must have experience in the e-commerce domain with expertise in both mobile and web testing
  • Good experience in API testing
  • Comprehensive knowledge of all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and its methodologies, such as Waterfall, Iterative, and Agile
  • Proficient in writing and executing test plans and test cases in highly structured environments, performing all types of testing
  • Solid hands-on experience in Integration Testing, Functional Testing, Black Box Testing, User Acceptance Testing, System Testing, Smoke Testing, and Regression Testing
  • Able to identify test scenarios, estimate test effort, and create test plans
  • Working experience with Jira and Agile-driven projects
  • Good to have experience in performance testing and Firebase Analytics
  • Advantage to have experience in tools for mobile testing
  • Strong written and communication skills
  • Implement effective managerial and testing techniques
  • Able to interact with technical teams to convert functional requirements to test specifications
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Experienced in preparing test data, preparation of test cases, and test execution
  • Client-focused regarding service delivery
