Job Title: Wet Etch Equipment Engineer

Responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of wet etch equipment in a semiconductor wafer fabrication environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform in-depth maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of 200/300mm wet benches and single-wafer processing tools.
  • Teach and adjust robots to optimize tool performance.
  • Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on wet etch equipment.
  • Plan and execute preventive maintenance tasks, procure consumables, and manage parts inventory.
  • Diagnose complex tool issues, perform root cause analysis, and resolve problems efficiently.
  • Maintain basic knowledge of Brooks and Assyst SMIFs.
  • Execute all tasks safely and maintain good housekeeping practices.
  • Develop skills in Mitsubishi and Omron PLC programming, if applicable.
  • Gain experience with sub-systems like CDS, DI heaters, ozone generators, and chillers.
  • Understand chemical safety principles and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in semiconductor wafer FAB equipment maintenance is mandatory.
  • Degree or diploma in engineering with relevant experience is required.
  • Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills are essential.
  • A positive attitude and ability to work effectively as a team player are necessary.
  • Self-motivation and ability to work independently or as part of a team are critical.
