Job RoleThis role involves driving international growth and revenue for the company by developing and executing a robust export strategy, managing customer relationships, and overseeing all aspects of the export process from procurement to shipment.
- Market Development and Expansion: Identify and target new international markets.
- Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies.
- Build strong relationships with international clients.
- Sales and Revenue Generation: Achieve and exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
- Negotiate and close deals with international buyers.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports.
- Oversee the entire export process from procurement to shipment.
- Ensure timely and efficient order fulfillment.
- Manage inventory levels effectively.
- Coordinate with logistics partners to optimize shipping costs and delivery times.
- Maintain high-quality standards for all exported products.
- Implement and monitor quality control procedures.
- Ensure compliance with international standards and regulations.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with international trade.
- Develop contingency plans for unforeseen challenges.
To succeed in this role, you will need a strong understanding of international trade and export regulations, proficiency in export documentation and customs procedures, and excellent communication and negotiation skills.
You should also have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, and be aggressive and self-motivated, target-oriented, and results-driven, with strong leadership and team management skills.
An MBA in Agriculture or Foreign Trade is preferred, and you should have 1-4 years of experience in a related field.
