Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced database professional to manage, maintain and optimize our SQL Server databases.

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring database performance, integrity, security and availability.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Install, configure and maintain SQL Server databases.
  2. Monitor database performance and implement tuning and optimization.
  3. Perform regular backups and recovery operations.
  4. Manage security, access controls and data integrity.
  5. Automate routine tasks and manage scheduled jobs.
  6. Troubleshoot and resolve database issues and outages.
Required Skills

To succeed in this role, the following skills and qualifications are required:

  • Strong knowledge of SQL Server and T-SQL.
  • Proficiency in performance tuning and query optimization.
  • Experience with backup/restore strategies and disaster recovery.
  • Familiarity with SSIS, SSRS and SSAS is a plus.
  • Understanding of indexing, partitioning and replication.
  • Working knowledge of Windows Server environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
