Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled SQL Database Administrator (DBA) with 3–4 years of experience in managing and maintaining MS SQL Server databases. The ideal candidate should also have working knowledge of MySQL and PostgreSQL to provide support across multiple database platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain MS SQL Server databases.
  • Monitor database performance, implement tuning and optimization strategies.
  • Manage database security, backups, and disaster recovery plans.
  • Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and patching of SQL databases.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues, ensuring minimum downtime.
  • Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.
  • Work with development and application teams to support database-related requirements.
  • Basic administration and support for MySQL and PostgreSQL databases.
  • Ensure data integrity, high availability, and scalability of databases.
  • Maintain proper documentation of database configurations and procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 3–4 years of proven experience as a SQL Server DBA.
  • Strong expertise in MS SQL Server (2014/2016/2019 or later).
  • Experience with database performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization.
  • Hands-on experience in backup and recovery strategies.
  • Basic knowledge and working experience with MySQL and PostgreSQL.
  • Familiarity with replication, clustering, and high availability solutions.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.

  • Experience with cloud-based databases (Azure SQL, AWS RDS, etc.).
