AWS DevOps Architect Role

The AWS DevOps Architect plays a pivotal role in designing and implementing scalable infrastructure using AWS services. Key responsibilities include leading architecture, infrastructure management, collaborative leadership, process improvement, CI/CD development, automation of provisioning, monitoring, logging, and performance tuning, security compliance, deployment management, knowledge management, stakeholder communication, cross-functional collaboration, and staying informed about industry trends.

Key Skills:

  • Architecture and Design: Lead the design of highly available, resilient, and scalable AWS infrastructure solutions, adhering to best practices in performance, reliability, and security.
  • Infrastructure Management: Oversee maintenance of applications and infrastructure, employing advanced techniques to optimize configurations and resource utilization.
  • Collaborative Leadership: Work closely with teams to define infrastructure requirements, provide expert guidance on best practices, and drive organizational change and improvements.
  • CI/CD Development: Architect and manage robust CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, improving application deployment and release management processes.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in AWS cloud computing.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Certifications: AWS Certified DevOps Architect is preferred.
