AWS Cloud Architecture Specialist Job Description

We seek an experienced AWS Cloud Architect to design and implement complex cloud architectures.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT infrastructure, with expertise in manufacturing environments.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement cloud-based solutions using AWS services such as EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, and Direct Connect.
  • Architect hybrid-cloud environments, including on-premise to cloud replication, failover patterns, and advanced networking.
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud-based solutions.
  • Maintain expertise in core AWS services and stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 7-10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, with a significant focus on manufacturing environments.
  • Demonstrated expertise in architecting complex hybrid-cloud environments.
  • Experience with manufacturing data collection systems, such as AC4D/Plant Manager and applications like AutoCount.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing-specific ERP systems, including Radius and its associated applications.
  • Knowledge of regulatory landscapes for food and pharmaceutical packaging, including FDA 21 CFR Part 11 and cGMP.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS IoT services and AWS Bedrock for data analysis.
  • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and scripting languages (Python, Bash).

  • DIRECT EXPERIENCE WITH MANUFACTURING DATA COLLECTION SYSTEMS LIKE AC4D/PLANT MANAGER AND APPLICATIONS LIKE AUTOCOUNT.
  • FAMILIARITY WITH MANUFACTURING-SPECIFIC ERP SYSTEMS LIKE RADIUS AND ITS ASSOCIATED APPLICATIONS.
  • KNOWLEDGE OF THE REGULATORY LANDSCAPE FOR FOOD AND PHARMACEUTICAL PACKAGING, INCLUDING FDA 21 CFR PART 11 AND CGMP.
