Lead Web Developer Manager

The role of Lead Web Developer Manager is critical to the success of our web development team. This position involves overseeing the strategic direction, technical leadership, and overall performance of our frontend and backend developers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Ownership & Delivery:
    • Owning end-to-end website and web application projects from kickoff to deployment, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
    • Translating project briefs, UI/UX designs, and business goals into robust web solutions that meet client expectations.
    • Fostering a culture of continuous improvement, staying up-to-date with industry trends, and adapting to emerging technologies.
  • Team Management:
    • Leading and mentoring a team of 3-6 web developers, providing guidance, support, and opportunities for growth and development.
    • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including design, content, and marketing, to ensure seamless project execution and optimal results.
    • Evaluating team performance, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing strategies to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Client Collaboration:
    • Serving as the primary point of contact for web-related projects, building strong relationships with clients, and ensuring their needs are met.
    • Communicating project status, timelines, and deliverables to clients, managing expectations, and resolving issues promptly.
    • Providing expert advice on web development best practices, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and maintaining high levels of quality.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration:
    • Collaborating with UI/UX designers to create visually appealing, user-friendly interfaces that meet client objectives.
    • Working closely with SEO, performance marketing, and branding teams to develop effective web strategies that drive business outcomes.
    • Guiding content and creative teams on technical feasibility, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
  • Code Quality & Infrastructure:
    • Establishing scalable architecture, version control systems, staging environments, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth project execution and efficient collaboration.
    • Maintaining high levels of code quality, responsiveness, performance optimization, SEO best practices, and accessibility standards.
    • Developing and enforcing coding standards, guidelines, and best practices to ensure consistency and maintainability across the team's work.
