Web Development Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Web Development Department Head to lead our team of talented developers in creating high-performance websites and web applications.

Your primary responsibility will be to manage end-to-end website and web app projects from kickoff to deployment, ensuring timely, bug-free completion and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of project delivery, overseeing all aspects from conception to launch.
  • Lead and mentor a team of 3-6 web developers, providing guidance on code quality and technical best practices.
  • Act as technical lead and client-facing point of contact for web-related projects, communicating effectively with clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers to ensure design fidelity and responsiveness, and work with performance marketing and branding teams to optimize websites for search engines and user experience.
  • Establish scalable architecture, version control, staging environments, and CI/CD pipelines as needed, ensuring code quality and maintainability.

Requirements:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in web development, with 1-2 years in a leadership or project management role.
  • Hands-on expertise in both frontend and backend (or strong full-stack) development.
  • Strong project management, task prioritization, and delivery focus.
  • Ability to manage clients, clarify requirements, and propose solutions.
  • Experience delivering responsive, SEO-friendly, and performance-optimized sites.
