Project Coordinator Role

We are seeking a skilled and organized Project Coordinator to spearhead the implementation and expansion of our STEM Lab initiative in government schools across Tiruvallur District.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and manage STEM Labs in assigned schools, fostering relationships with school staff and government officials while conducting regular school visits to address challenges.
  • Lead a team of STEM trainers, overseeing their performance and supporting training programs for students and teachers.
  • Liaise with school administration and government bodies to secure support, representing our organization at local events and meetings.
  • Analyze data to track student participation, learning outcomes, and program impact, suggesting improvements as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records and submit timely progress reports, ensuring administrative tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Cultivate clear and assertive communication with all stakeholders, promoting the vision and benefits of the STEM Lab initiative.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Education or STEM fields.
  • 1-2 years of project coordination experience, preferably in education or non-profits.
  • Experience working with government schools, rural communities, or similar environments is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and data-handling skills.
  • Fluency in Tamil and English.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ability to travel extensively within Tiruvallur District.
