Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned tax professional to lead our financial services team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to drive business growth.

The role of a Tax Manager involves providing strategic guidance on complex tax matters, overseeing tax compliance for financial institutions, and leading a high-performing team. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Providing technical expertise on federal and state tax research, work papers, allocations, and tax returns.
  • Reviewing income tax accounting reporting and advising on tax-related matters.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and progress updates.
  • Facilitating economic growth through billing and collections, while continuously improving specialty area knowledge and professional development.

The successful candidate will have a bachelor's or master's degree in accounting or finance, an Enrolled Agent License or CPA certification, and a minimum of five years of recent public accounting experience. Experience with corporate tax accounting, ASC 740, and international tax is preferred.
