Lead UX Designer - Interaction Design

We're looking for a seasoned design leader to helm our user experience and interaction design initiatives. This individual will oversee the development of high-fidelity designs, prototypes, and product solutions that empower users to push boundaries in fintech.

This role requires strong product design, user experience design, interaction design, visual design, and design management expertise. The ideal candidate will own banks, issuers, acquirers, and fintech experience for all Wibmo products, including prepaid platforms, fraud risk management, ACS, multifactor authentication, payment gateways, and more.

The design leader will define best practices, frameworks, principles, influence ways of operating, coach, and provide expertise to the design team. Key responsibilities include:

  • Defining best practices, frameworks, principles, influencing ways of operating, coaching, and providing expertise to the design team
  • Owning banks, issuers, acquirers, and fintech experience for all Wibmo products
  • Collaborating closely with engineering, product management, production support, operations, finance, banking alliances, marketing, and sales teams
  • Making data-driven product decisions and democratizing product success metrics across teams

A successful candidate will possess strong people management and leadership experience, with a proven track record of building, developing, and inspiring creative teams. They should have 8+ years of hands-on product design, user experience design, interaction design, visual design experience, and 3+ years of design leadership experience. Bonus points for experience in building 0 to 1 products and having a curious mind with the ability to challenge the status quo.
