Job Opportunity: Strategic Leadership & Oversight

We seek a visionary leader to drive the surveillance function of our organization, ensuring effective detection and prevention of market abuse or misconduct.

The ideal candidate will safeguard regulatory compliance and uphold market integrity through robust monitoring systems, policies, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise investigation of alerts, suspicious trades, and breaches; ensure timely escalation to compliance, legal, or regulators, identify emerging risks in trading patterns, market behavior, or operational processes.
  • Developing, testing, and deploying surveillance systems, creating frameworks for effective monitoring, driving the selection, implementation, and enhancement of platforms, analytics tools, and AI-based monitoring systems.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the surveillance team; ensure continuous skill enhancement in regulatory and analytical domains.
  • Benchmark against global best practices; introduce process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency.
  • Present periodic reports, risk dashboards, and key metrics to stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • MBA (in finance), CA, CS.
  • Minimum relevant experience of 5-10+ years.
Essential Skills:
  • Knowledge of equity and derivatives markets.
  • Proficiency in analysis and report creation using various tools.
Competencies:
  • Knowledge and understanding of Exchange operations.
  • Ability to integrate market knowledge with technical expertise.
  • Analytical thinker with research skills.
