About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Technical Operations Expert to lead our Red Hat OpenShift clusters. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in IT infrastructure and operations, with a strong focus on high availability and disaster recovery.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Cluster Management: Ensure the smooth operation of our OCP environments, including regular upgrades and patching.
  2. Troubleshooting: Provide L3 support for complex incidents related to OpenShift, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
  3. Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize cluster performance, implement best practices for resource allocation, and ensure optimal system utilization.
  4. Security Compliance: Develop and maintain security policies, ensure compliance with organizational standards, and perform regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
  5. Automation: Design and implement automation scripts for routine tasks and deployments using tools like Ansible, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
  6. Documentation Training: Create detailed documentation of the OCP environment and processes, provide training and mentorship to junior administrators, and ensure knowledge transfer within the team.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and operations.
  • 3+ years of experience with Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux administration, particularly Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
