Senior IT Infrastructure Specialist

The Senior IT Infrastructure Specialist plays a vital role in designing, maintaining, and monitoring our company's infrastructure. This position is critical to ensuring the security, reliability, and efficiency of all on-premises and cloud-based resources.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Infrastructure Design and Maintenance: Configure, deploy, and maintain Azure, AWS, and Hyper-V Server environments, adhering to industry best practices and organizational standards.
  • User Support: Administer and address user support tickets in alignment with ITIL principles, ensuring timely resolutions and maintaining superior levels of user satisfaction.
  • Active Directory Services: Configure, deploy, and maintain Active Directory services, including Domain Controllers, User/Group Management, and Group Policy Administration.
  • Hybrid Environment Management: Administer and maintain a hybrid Active Directory environment, ensuring timely synchronizations between On-Premises and Cloud Infrastructure.
  • Microsoft 365 Services: Administer and maintain Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and other tenant services.
  • Security and Compliance: Collaborate closely with the IT Security team to implement security best practices and controls, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our Infrastructure.
  • Backup and Disaster Recovery: Administer and maintain regular backups and disaster recovery strategies for all Infrastructure services, ensuring business continuity.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of Infrastructure services, including Asset Inventory and Software/Hardware design and implementation. Generate regular reports on server performance, security, and compliance metrics.

This role requires excellent technical skills, including proficiency in Windows Server environments, scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash), and experience with NIST Cybersecurity Framework 1.1 and NYDFS 500.03. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also essential for success in this position.
