Manufacturing Operations Specialist

Job Overview:

  • Lead the execution of production strategies to achieve planned targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Optimize resource allocation: manpower, machinery, materials, and finances for efficient production processes.
  • Monitor progress to ensure timely completion of projects and implement necessary adjustments.
  • Maintain quality standards by conducting regular inspections and tests.
  • Ensure a safe working environment and enforce safety policies to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Manage inventory levels of raw materials, semi-finished products, and finished goods.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or related field.
  • 3-15 years of experience in heavy fabrication industries and rail industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of production processes and procedures, including welding, assembly, and testing.

Competencies:

  • Wagon engineering and manufacturing process knowledge.
  • Experience in executing large-scale production projects.
  • Understanding of quality control and safety regulations in rail industry/heavy fabrication industries.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard tools and technologies.
  • Project management methodologies knowledge.
  • Strong execution skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
