Job Description

The primary objective of this role is to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of our Mainframe infrastructure.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Designing, developing, testing, and implementing new applications and modifications to existing ones.
  2. Ensuring that all changes are thoroughly tested and validated before deployment.
  3. Identifying and resolving technical issues in a timely manner.
  4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business requirements.
  5. Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.

We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in Mainframe technology, including Cobol, DB2, JCL, and VSAM. A good understanding of Agile development methodologies and experience working in a fast-paced environment are also essential.

Key Skills:

  • Cobol: Expert-level skills required.
  • DB2: Advanced knowledge necessary.
  • JCL: Strong understanding required.
  • VSAM: Proficient level needed.
  • CICS: Familiarity beneficial.
