Wind Turbine Foundation Design Expert

Renewable energy solutions are shaping the future, and we need experienced professionals to join our Engineering Design Office – Renewables. The role involves designing, analyzing, and optimizing wind turbine generator foundations that meet international safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and optimize various foundation types, considering factors like gravity, wind, seismic activity, and fatigue
  • Perform structural load and stress calculations using software tools like STAAD Pro and SAP2000
  • Select construction materials for efficiency and sustainability
  • Prepare design basis reports, bills of quantity, drawings, and calculations
  • Evaluate and ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards, such as BIS, ASCE, AISC, SBC, Eurocode, and others
  • Collaborate with geotechnical, hydrology, BoP, electrical, and CTS teams to achieve project goals
  • Support certification processes and identify risks, implementing mitigation strategies
  • Provide technical support to business development, procurement, and EPC partners
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Structural specialization), Master's in Structural or Civil preferred
  • Experience: 8–12 years in Power & Utilities sector, renewable energy focus
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in software tools like STAAD Pro, SAP2000, RFEM/RSTAB, SAFE, ETABS, and PLAXIS 2D/3D
  • Expertise in WTG foundation design, geotechnical risk assessment, hydrology, seismic analysis, and civil design codes
