About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to work in renewable energy. As a procurement specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that construction materials are procured efficiently and effectively.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of civil construction materials and consumables, as well as experience in procurement and supply chain management.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Procure site-level civil items locally within approved budget limits.
    • Coordinate with project managers to ensure timely material availability.
    • Align with HO SCM teams on procurement status, vendor approvals, and project SCM deliverables.
    • Maintain vendor databases at the local level for civil items and consumables.
    • Ensure procurement follows company policies, compliance, and quality standards.
    • Monitor and report material inflow/outflow, consumption, and stock levels.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Strong knowledge of civil construction materials and consumables.
  • Understanding of local procurement practices and vendor management.
  • Familiarity with procurement documentation (POs, GRNs, invoices).
  • Good coordination and negotiation skills for vendor interaction.
  • Ability to work closely with site teams and HO SCM under tight timelines.
  • B.E./Diploma in Civil Engineering OR Graduate with relevant SCM/procurement experience.
