Accounting Lead

The accounting lead is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timeliness. This includes preparing and reviewing financial statements, managing month-end and year-end closing processes, and ensuring statutory compliance with tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.">
• Prepare and review financial statements in line with applicable accounting standards.">
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and reporting.">
• Ensure statutory compliance with tax regulations, GST, TDS, and other financial reporting requirements.">
• Monitor accounts receivable and payable, implement effective credit control and vendor management processes.">
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimization.">
• Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities for audits and financial reviews.">
• Assist management in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.">
• Implement and improve internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure process efficiency.">
• Mentor and guide junior accountants, providing training and reviewing their work for accuracy.">

  • Required Qualifications:">
    • ">
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance, CMA/CA preferred.">
    • Minimum 5-8 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior role.">
    • Strong knowledge of accounting standards, tax laws, and compliance requirements.">
    • Proficiency in ERP accounting software (SAP, Tally, Oracle, etc.).">
    • Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills.">
    • Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and organizational skills.">
    • Strong communication and leadership qualities to work across teams and guide subordinates.">
