Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) Job Description

We are seeking a skilled VAPT Professional to join our team. The role involves assessing and identifying vulnerabilities in an organization's IT systems, networks, and applications. The VAPT Professional will conduct penetration tests to evaluate the effectiveness of security measures.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead VAPT Engagements: Conduct end-to-end VAPT engagements across web, mobile, network, APIs, and cloud environments.
  • Advanced Penetration Testing: Perform advanced penetration testing, exploit development, and vulnerability research.
  • Red Teaming Exercises: Conduct red teaming exercises and simulate real-world attack scenarios.
  • Security Architecture Review: Review security architectures, assess risks, and provide actionable remediation strategies.
  • Technical Reporting: Prepare comprehensive technical reports and executive summaries for client stakeholders.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement security solutions.
  • Mentorship: Mentor and guide junior team members on security testing methodologies and tools.
  • Staying Up-to-Date: Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, vulnerabilities, exploits, and tools.
  • Client Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring smooth delivery of projects.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and frameworks.

Requirements:

  • Hands-On Experience: 6+ years of hands-on experience in VAPT, red teaming, and offensive security testing.
  • OSCP Certification: OSCP certification is mandatory (OSCE, OSEP, or similar certifications are a plus).
  • Security Testing Tools: Expertise in security testing tools such as Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nmap, Nessus, Wireshark, OWASP ZAP, etc.
  • Web, Mobile, Network, Cloud Security: Strong knowledge of web, mobile, network, cloud, and API security vulnerabilities and exploitation techniques.
  • VAPT Reporting: Experience in preparing detailed VAPT reports, risk assessments, and remediation plans.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Stakeholder Management: Strong stakeholder management and client-handling capabilities.
  • Independence and Travel: Ability to work independently in a remote setup and travel as required.
