Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of complex corporate returns, including operating partnership returns.
  • Detail review of corporate and partnership book-to-tax reconciliations and tax returns prepared by tax staff.
  • Identification of potential tax law adjustments and reflection on workpapers and returns.
  • Supporting staff in resolving tax issues and completing tax returns within deadlines.
  • Knowledge of international filing requirements and reviewing international forms.
  • Training new joiners on concepts and technology, sharing timely feedback, and managing kick-off connects with US counterparts.
  • Independently managing budgets and knowledge of efile validation of returns.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in U.S. accounting firms.
  • Experience and knowledge of the U.S. Tax Code preferred.
  • Strong English language skills, written and verbal communication.
  • Entrepreneurial work ethic and commitment.
  • Competent analysis and prioritization of information to make recommendations.
  • Ability to work on multiple engagements simultaneously and communicate with Domestic (US) engagement teams.
  • Education: B.Com or M.Com or MBA Finance or CA Inter.
