Occupational Therapist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced occupational therapist to provide high-quality services to children with diverse needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments, develop individualized therapy plans, and provide regular progress updates to parents and caregivers.
  • Collaborate with parents to create home-based intervention plans and offer ongoing support through parent consultations and coaching.
  • Implement a parent-focused approach, including counseling and empowerment, to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.
  • Deliver quality sessions, prioritize client retention, and maintain open communication with the therapy team.
  • Mentor junior therapists through feedback, coaching, and group training sessions, promoting professional growth and development.
  • Stay up-to-date with new tools, techniques, and resources, incorporating evidence-based practices into your therapy approach.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with team members and management, contributing to a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Participate in workshops, outreach events, and awareness initiatives that align with our organization's goals and values.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy (MOT) or equivalent.
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in pediatric occupational therapy, with expertise in working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, and other neurodevelopmental conditions.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and maintaining excellent communication skills.
