Job Opportunity: Senior GCP Data Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned data professional to lead our data solutions team. If you have expertise in designing and developing scalable data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform, we would like to hear from you.

  • Please highlight your experience with GCP services such as Big Query, Cloud Dataflow (Apache Beam), Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Composer (Apache Airflow).
  • Mention any experience with Change Data Capture (CDC) and Data stream.

The ideal candidate will be able to translate business requirements into technical specifications, leveraging a variety of GCP services to build integrated systems. Experience with structured ERP solutions like SAP, Oracle EBS, and Salesforce is also desirable.

This is a remote opportunity for a specialist to work on challenging projects for industries like Energy, Oil & Gas, Healthcare, and Finance.

We are looking for someone with deep expertise in the following:

GCP Services:

  • Big Query
  • Cloud Dataflow (Apache Beam)
  • Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage
  • Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer (Apache Airflow)
  • Experience with Change Data Capture (CDC) and Data stream

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Python and SQL
  • Experience with structured ERP solutions like SAP, Oracle EBS, and Salesforce
  • A strong understanding of different file formats (CSV, JSON, XML, Parquet, ORC, Avro)
  • Knowledge of Data Lake concepts
  • Experience with API development and consumption (REST, SOAP)

Data Security & Governance:

  • Proven ability to implement IAM best practices (least privilege, service accounts)
  • Familiarity with data masking and anonymization techniques
